Well, it looks like we have been slacking a little on the blog posts lately! It has been quite a crazy & hectic fall for us this year. Now that our travel & wedding schedule is starting to calm down, we will finally have a chance to get caught up a little on blogging, so keep an eye out for lots more to come soon!

First off: Lauren & Chandler's wedding in Fayetteville! Remember their [ Durham engagement session ] that we shot this summer?

Lauren & Chandler's ceremony was held at [ St. Andrews United Methodist Church ] in Fayetteville.

After the ceremony, we made a quick stop at Festival Park for some photos of the bride & the groom. What a fun place to shoot!

Mel & her family have been family friends of ours for years, so it was extra special to us to be asked to be a part of Mel & Tony's wedding & [ bridal session ]. They are just about the sweetest, happiest people you could ever meet, so naturally it was nothing less than a delight to photograph their big day.


Mel & Tony didn't want to see each other before the wedding, so instead had a special moment with each other prior to the ceremony from the other side of the wall outside of the dressing rooms. They were so cute. :)



Mel & Tony had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony in the courtyard at [ Revolution Mill Studio ] in Greensboro. Loved watching Tony as his bride was coming down the aisle. He was beaming!



I don't always talk too much on the blog about officiants, but I just have to put in a good word for [ Reverend Robin Renteria ]. Robin did the most wonderful job officiating Mel & Tony's ceremony! As I told her afterward, I don't remember the last time I've been so touched by a wedding ceremony. You can tell she puts a lot of care into creating a very personal, meaningful ceremony for each couple she weds. Brought tears to my eyes!


Finally Mr. & Mrs. Sturtzel! Woohoo!!









The reception was held indoors, with cake by [ Buy Me Cake ], catering by [ Culinary Visions ], music by DJ Brad Ader of [ DJParty4U ], & flowers by Dell Nichols.

The whole day was wonderful, but the reception, without a doubt, was the best part of the day. So much fun! I suppose after eight long years of waiting for this day, Mel, Tony, & their entire families were ready to party!! ;)











And they're off to Hawaii - there could be no better way to end a perfect day!
