We are so glad [ Jessica & Josh ] referred Michelle & Brandon to us! We had such a great time with them at their [ engagement session ] this spring & photographing their gorgeous wedding this summer at [ the Umstead ] in Cary. As an added bonus, we even got to see adorable little [ Donut ] again! :)

Hair & makeup by [ Rodney Robledo ].

The ceremony took place at [ St. Catherine of Siena Church ] in Wake Forest.

Then we headed back to [ the Umstead ] for photographs & to get the party started!

The ballroom at [ the Umstead ] was all decked out with amazing table settings full of tons of gorgeous flowers from [ Watered Garden Florist ], the in-house catering team put together a great meal & amazing cake, & [ Brian Pate Entertainment ] kept everybody dancing all night long. All in all the perfect recipe for a fabulous evening!

Loved this wish tree where all the guests could leave the bride & groom a special note with their best wishes.

We spent the day with Madison, Blaise, & their closest friends & family for their wedding at a beach house in Hatteras this summer. They are two of the kindest clients we could ask for & couldn't have made us feel more welcome. So glad we got to be a part of their big day! :)

Madison is a graphic designer, so of course was super creative in putting together all sorts of fantastic DIY details. Love these colorful fans & pinwheels!

The waves filled with kite surfers made an amazing backdrop for the oceanside ceremony.

After the ceremony, they had a laid back beach party at the house with lots of drinks, dancing, & great food by [ Kelly's Restaurant ].

Maddie & Blaise had a dessert table filled with all their favorite family dessert recipes & a cake by [ Providence Divine Cakes & Pastries ] out of their hometown of York, PA.

Loved this cute card-making station - guests each crafted a special note for the bride & groom.

We made a special point to head back down to the water for a few more shots at sunset. I'm so glad we did - the light was beautiful & a walk on the beach made for a perfect end to a perfect day!
