Jennifer & Robert got married recently & we had the honor of doing a day after shoot with the two of them not long after they tied the knot. We photographed this session in historic New Bern where Robert acted as our awesome tour guide for the afternoon. He knows this town like the back of his hand, so took us to all kinds of great places downtown & told us a bit about the history of the town.

Our first stop was this great church, which we LOVED - we seriously could have shot here all day!






Jennifer & Robert have this sweet, playful kind of love that is so much fun to watch (& makes photographing them a breeze!). Between the laughs, tickles, & tackles, I think this next handful of shots say it all. :)








We shot Jennifer & Robert's session right before we headed out for Christmas, so downtown was all dressed up for the holidays in bows & lights.





We finished up the last part of our shoot in the area surrounding [ Tryon Palace ]. Loved all the historic buildings & gardens there!

winter '09 // teasers
