We had such a great time being a part of Sara & Tyler's big day in Raleigh this fall. We started off at the [ Sheraton Raleigh Hotel ] downtown, where everyone was getting ready.
Loved the gift boxes for the groomsmen! Perfect.
These images of the flower girl, bride, & her dad getting ready to make their big entrance have to be some of my favorites from the day.
Sneaking a little peek into the chapel :) The ceremony was at [ Dinwiddie Chapel at Peace College ].
The campus at [ Peace College ] was a great location for photos of the wedding party - this big courtyard out in front of the main building wound up being the perfect spot to shoot.
Loved all the different but coordinating wedding party details. I think it's so awesome when a bride lets her bridesmaids choose their dresses! Gorgeous bouquets & boutonnieres are always a plus, too! Great work as always from Raleigh's [ Fresh Affairs ].
lovelovelove these film shots Tres took in this great archway!
The reception was downtown at the [ Raleigh City Museum ]. It was our first time shooting here, & I have to say I was in love with this venue! I think it has so much character & is really fun to look around see the history of our city surrounding you.
Sara & Tyler had such cute wedding details too. Totally our style. My favorite definitely had to be their (funfetti!) cake, cupcakes, & adorable felt cake topper though. Too perfect!
Also loved the different flowers all around the venue in a variety of vintage pitchers & vases. [ Premier Catering ] put together a beautiful presentation & delicious job on the hors d'oeuvres & dinner, as well - we were very impressed!
The grand entrance:
And their first dance as Mr. & Mrs.
Both of the parent dances were so sweet! Always love witnessing these special moments - especially with such tight-knit families that quite obviously have so much love for one another.
Love Sara & Tyler's expressions during the speeches, too. Awesome. :)
Completely in love with these cake cutting shots! Can't decide if I like the film or digital shots better.
And do I even need to comment on how ridiculously adorable this flower girl was?? Oh my gosh. What a cutie!!
And for the rest of the post: a million & one shots of the reception! With the always fabulous work of [ Joe Bunn DJ Company ] & a really great group of people, this reception wound up being so much fun. I also loved so many of the film shots (our first time using Ilford Delta 3200 for a reception - loved it for low light shooting!), I finally just gave up on trying to cut my favorites down. ;)
And last but not least - the costume photo booth!
Sara & Tyler - thanks again for inviting us to be a part of your perfect day!
