We began the big day in one of the upstairs rooms of [ Yankee Hall Plantation ] with the preparations of the bride & all of her closest friends.
The beautiful floral arrangements were created by Val Conger with Your Perfect Day Floral Designs. Loved the contrasting bouquets of all white for the bride & bright red for the bridesmaids.
The ceremony took place outdoors in this great gazebo out behind Yankee Hall. I think I've probably said this a million times, but I can't help but love watching the groom's face as he sees his bride for the first time - so sweet! :)

The reception was held inside in the ballroom, which made for a really elegant place for the event with its high ceilings, columns, & chandeliers.
Both Caroline & Josh had such sweet dances with their parents. You can tell that these two have been blessed with close, loving families.
The cake by local baker, Amber Rudder of [ Your Perfect Cake ], was so fun with its four different tiers.
This crowd was excited to finally get the party started on the dance floor!
I'm not sure if I can accurately describe what happened next, so we'll just say that Josh was a lucky groom who got to enjoy a dance from an entire crowd of lovely ladies on his wedding day. :)
And to make removing the garter a little more interesting, Caroline & Josh had their first test as newlyweds in communication - Caroline had to verbally guide Josh to the garter, while he was blindfolded with his hands tied behind his back.
As you can see, they passed the test with flying colors. :)
