We had so much fun shooting Jessica & Josh's engagement session recently! They made our job so easy. First, you have to admit they are pretty easy on the eyes, which never hurts. ;) But more importantly, they were totally relaxed & themselves in front of the camera, & weren't afraid to laugh & have a good time during the shoot - to us this is exactly what an engagement session should be all about!

Since they are both NC State alumni, we decided to start our shoot on campus & I'm so glad we did! It wound up being a great place to take photos.



This handsome little guy came along & made an appearance in a few shots. Major did so well in front of the camera. I'm pretty sure he was even enjoying being photographed... or maybe it was all the attention & belly rubs... ;) Either way, he was just too cute!

Loved the free expression tunnel - so fun & colorful! And seriously, aren't Jessica & Josh the cutest?? Love this one. :)






For our last stop, we ended the day in downtown Raleigh, where we used up every last little bit of remaining daylight.






Thanks again for such a fun afternoon, guys! We can't wait till the wedding!!

P.S. - These first two shots are FILM! The first we have shot outside of personal work in years. We have really missed the process of shooting film, as well as the tones & colors it lets you capture, so have started shooting a handful of film at a good bit of our sessions lately. I'm thinking we'll be doing it a lot more often. So fun & I'm loving how beautiful it looks straight out of camera!


...but of course, with some editing, digital is pretty nice too. ;)
