We lucked out with two great models when we shot Calvin & Andrea's engagement shoot in Charlotte. They were such a fun, happy couple to work with. You could tell they were enjoying themselves (& enjoying each other) during the whole shoot - and it shows in the photos.

stella + rick // wedding . wake forest nc
Stella & Rick had a gorgeous wedding with their close friends & family at [ the Cotton Company ] in Wake Forest. As it is a renovated cotton warehouse, it made for a very cool location, complete with wooden columns & original brickwork.
They designed their own cakes & did an amazing job! The gift boxes made of fondant & icing were almost too pretty to eat.
The guys showed up all ready to go.
And the girls spent some quality time together getting ready in the dressing room.
The window light during the ceremony was amazing & made for great photos.
The ceremony was really sweet with lots of smiles and even a couple tears. You can tell their families have a lot of love for each other. Stella, Rick & their kids performed a sand ceremony during the wedding in which each person poured a different color of sand into a vase. The different sands mix together & unite as one, unable to be separated, symbolizing the unity of their families.
The next two are some of our favorite shots from the day:
Everyone seemed to have such a great time at the reception. They danced the day and the night away!
